I have thought it may be because it's a user preference rather than a policy. This causes all sorts of problems when the 60plus30 minute interval is hit because it drops them out of the drives if they're working inside them at that particular time. To explain why I want to do this is the following I have drive maps being pushed through GPO user preferences and they're set to replace. I've tried removing any other GPO's from being drilled down to the test machine with no luck.Īny experience anyone has and advice you can offer will be much appreciated. It doesn't work and I can't figure out why. Setting it to Enabled should make the system wait until the current user logs off before updating the computer and user settings. Not configured or disabled = GPO get's processed as default every 60 minutes with a 30 minute offset. Hi all, I'm in the process of trying to prevent GPO from being applied on an interval and only apply when the user logs offĬomputer Configuration -> Policies -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Group Policy -> Turn off background refresh of Group Policy
